Athenree Waterside Accommodation is situated only 20 metres from the Northern end of the Tauranga Harbour. The harbour and rural views are fabulous and the location is quiet and private.
The fully self contained lower accommodation has its own deck with outside table, chairs and barbecue. Complimentary kayaks available. The lower unit consists of a modern kitchen with dishwasher, lounge/dining room & heat pump, 2 bedrooms with Queen beds (linen supplied), electric blankets bathroom/shower, washing machine, TV in lounge and both bedrooms, free Wi-Fi. Tea, coffee, milk & basic condiments supplied. |
The Athenree Hot Springs and Holiday Park is only 200 metres away where their natural warm mineral pool and hot soaking pool is available. Also only 200 metres away is the Athenree boat ramp or there are 2 other access points to the harbour 8 km away at the Bowentown Boating Club or 9.5 km to the very popular and sheltered Anzac Bay. Anzac Bay is also a very safe location for swimming and great access to rock fishing.
Waihi Beach, 9km in length, is a 5 km drive and very popular for swimming, surfing and fishing. Waihi Beach village with its many eating establishments and boutique shopping is 7.5 km away, a comfortable 10 min drive. View our slide show. |
